Law Related Project Management and Implementation

I have over 20 year’s experience working on expansive and long-term projects for courts, firms and agencies. My unique ability to listen to an idea, see the big picture and then break it down into smaller increments for implementation is rare among lawyers.

I understand the structure of large law and small firms. I am collaboratively trained and work well in team settings. I am able to help you and your firm or agency focus on each step that is needed.

Some of my projects include:

  • Chairperson of the Santa Clara County Bar Association Modest Means Panel committee. This was a two year project in which the committee developed the first bar association-sponsored Modest Mean Panel in the State of California. Our work became a model for other counties throughout California.

  • Chairperson of the Santa Clara County Bar Association Membership committee. This was a two year project in which we developed the first of many membership benefits for the bar.

  • One of six co-founders of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP). This was a six year project forming an international organization of professionals, developing the organizational structure and implementing the vision to reality.

  • Pro Bono Project of Santa Clara County Settlement Project. I consulted regarding the development and implementation of this project. I created and developed the training for the volunteer attorneys and spearheaded the 12 our training course.

  • Assisted Meet and Confer project, Sunnyvale Family Law departments. I assisted the judges with development of this project involving volunteer mediators who assist parties and counsel with settlement at Law and Motion hearings. I have been the administrator of this program since 2009.

  • Young Children’s Settlement Team Project. So far this has been a two year project where two person volunteer teams of one attorney and one mental health professional work with parents of young children to help them develop parenting plans and avoid the litigation process. The pilot phase in 2012 will provide the foundation for expansion of the program. I have developed the plan for the program in conjunction with the Family Court Judges and I am the administrator/developer for the program. I will develop the training curriculum for future teams and will lead the training
